Without setting up an account with FoodFiltr, you will be able to browse through our restaurant listings, product reviews, service reviews, articles, and other information ("Content") and save such Content. By becoming a Member ("Member") of our Site, you will also be able to create and post Content, rate and review restaurants, products, and services, and subscribe to newsletters or other mailing lists.

Personal Information

FoodFiltr may collect and store some account information upon your membership submission with our Site, such as a password and a Member Identification. If you are merely browsing our Site, you will have limited access to our Content without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, Personal Information ("Personal Information") that may be stored includes, but is not limited to: your name, IP-addresses, email addresses, member-chosen passwords, and/or demographic information, such as date of birth, zip code location, and your special interests. You understand that some Personal Information, such as the Member Name you listed on your Member Account, disclosed by you in your Member Profile may be available for viewing by other Users. FoodFiltr has provided you with the means for protecting your information and identity, but it is up to you to determine what information other Users will see about you. However, we will not share your personal information with anyone, including registered and non-registered Users.

Use of Information

FoodFiltr's primary purpose in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with an efficient, safe, smooth and customized experience. You agree that we may use your Personal Information to:

  • Provide the services and customer support you request;
  • Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems;
  • Prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities and/or to enforce our User Agreement;
  • Customize, measure, and improve our services and the websites' content and layout; and
  • Allow Members to modify, save and update their account or content.
